Lisa Ferguson, CMT is a certified therapist specializing in myotherapy, neuromuscular therapy, and re-posturing.
Lisa graduated the Boulder School of Massage Therapy, known as the “Harvard” of massage schools, in 1991. After graduation, Lisa continued her studies with physicians, chiropractors, and physical therapists to expand her knowledge of myofascial traumas. In doing so, she developed a passion for Dr. Travell’s myofascial trigger point therapy. As a result of her extensive experience, Lisa has taught myofascial trigger point therapy to doctors, kinesiologists, and therapists here in California, as well as abroad, in Morocco and Tunisia (Vital International Spas).
After being diagnosed with an illness in 1987, Lisa knows firsthand how pain and limited mobility can affect your daily life. Lisa found her cure in myotherapy, and now lives an active, athletic life. Lisa is an avid amateur athlete who enjoys golf, basketball, cycling, tennis, racquetball squash, softball, and swimming.
Lisa has been helping her Bay Area clients live pain free since 1993.
